Although semi-private, tee times can be reserved up to seven days in advance and walk-on play for singles or doubles is usually available. The course is uniquely constructed with small moguls, bunkers, trees, and doglegs to make it challenging for any player.
The fairways are narrow, and lined with a multiple cut of rough. The greens are large and receptable to a long iron. There are plenty of holes where even the more inconsistent drivers can let it fly on the teebox. The 16th hole is among the prettiest on Long Island, a breathtaking 210-yard, par-3 (from the tips) with Long Island Sound marking the out of bounds on the right.

Signature Hole
16th hole, par 3, 185 yards.
The 16th graces the shores of Long Island Sound. From this vista you can see the shores of Connecticut, or up and down the coast of LI. At times you may face stiff winds from the water to a rolling right to left green.
